To make earth cleaner, greener and safer, which energy sources should humanity rely on?

Alex Epstein of the Center for Industrial Progress explains how modern societies have cleaned up our water, air and streets using the very energy sources you may not have expected–oil, coal and natural gas.

Alex Epstein is a philosopher who applies big-picture, humanistic thinking to industrial and environmental controversies. He founded Center for Industrial Progress (CIP), a for-profit think tank and communications consulting firm focused on energy and environmental issues, in 2011 to offer a positive, pro-human alternative to the Green movement. He is the author of The Moral Case for Fossil Fuels.

  2. We already use nuclear. Every form of energy originated as nuclear…the sun is nuclear.

  3. Hydrogen isn’t produced by the Sun.
